The Tangent is the newest knife from Grant and Gavin Hawk. It uses an ingenious mechanism, as seen on their Beetle folder, that keeps the blade "locked" when held firmly in hand. The handle is satin and bead blast finished titanium with carbon fiber onlays. Its pocket clip is heat anodized titanium. The blade flips open with assistance from the rubber band and smoothly thanks to the ball bearing pivot. This knife is serial numbered on the handle.
