The Black RIG 1210 hydration pack from Geigerrig has plenty of pockets, the carrying capacity for your long day hike gear and a 100 oz. engine to keep you hydrated. The pack is made from 840 ballistic nylon, so you can be sure it's tough. Includes shoulder straps, adjustable chest strap, and padded waist strap.

The Geigerrig represents the next big leap in portable hydration system performance! There are many differences, but the pivotal difference is in how your liquid is delivered. Traditional hydration packs require the user to suck to drink water, but the Geigerrig utilizes a simple, yet brilliant pressurized set-up that sprays the water. The only effort required to get a drink is lightly pinching the bite valve with your fingers or teeth. It's a seemingly small difference until you consider how much more your hydration pack can do for you.

  • Spray to Drink
  • Spray to Cool
  • Spray to Clean
  • Spray to Share
  • Easy Care (cleanup & storage)
  • Clean H2O (see optional Geigerrig water purifiers)
  • Constant Water Pressure
  • Stable Load (no water sloshing around)

The core of the the Geigerrig is the Hydration Engine, which is a 2-chamber bladder of reservoir; one chamber is filled with your water or liquid while the other chamber is pressurized with air using the Power Bulb, which also has a depressurization button. The Geigerrig has simple, reliable quick-release valves to quickly disconnect you tubes from the Engine (bladder). The Geigerrig bladder has a wide-mouth opening and slide top closure. Another impressive feature of the Hydration Engine is that it's reversible (for drying out) and it's also dishwasher safe!

Best hydration bladder I have used.
Hunter L.
I have used several other reputable hydration bladders, some of them were put to hard use, such as a military grade device I wore underneath a heavy tac vest with heavy trauma plates. The Geigerrig is a durable pack, with handsfree use. Just hold the spray end in your teeth, squeeze the bulb a few times to increase the pressure, and you dont have to stop what you are doing, such as biking, which is what my unit is primarily used for. I could not think of a better system.
