The dime is awesome for what it is. It’s not a full size pair of Klein pliers so don’t try to use it like one (that’s why I’m on my second dime). That being said, this this will accomplish just about anything you’ll need it to in a regular day. It has all of the same tools as the leather man squirt (just in a different layout) and it even includes a pair of tweezers at half the price. I sharpened the package opener to a much sharper edge and now that works great with the tweezers for digging out slivers. Great tool, totally worth the money.
The title of this review may sound like an exaggeration, and maybe it is, but I have repurchased this tool 3 times after it was lost or confiscated (by airport security) for a reason. It is so dang useful that not having it makes me feel like I am not living the most effective way I can. Not having this tool is like not having an index finger, sure you could get through life, but there would be a countless number of times you would say, "man I wish I had my finger right now". This is exactly what I said more times than I can count regarding this tool. It lives in my "coin pocket" in my jeans and it the most used item in my EDC. I have never found it lacking in any area...however I do feel that the "Package cutter" is a tad useless and could have been replaced with something else. In fact, the package cutter on my current Dime, for some odd reason, came with no edge, but it hasn't bothered me because I have never had a need for it. I just simply use the knife on the dime or my EDC knife to open packages. This is not enough of an issue to loose any respect in my opinion, because as I said before, I have never found it lacking in any area. It has performed for me in gardening, tinkering, carving, opening bottles, camping, hiking, etc. If you are considering it, stop reading and click "add to cart" you will not regret owning this tool!!
This tool never leaves my pocket, i just love it so much especially for its size, just an amazing little edc gadget...
Works well enough to replace my full size Gerber multi tool and shaved some weight off my pack in the process. The tweezers have came in handy and my big Gerber didn't even come with those.

Everyone should have one of these. Comes in handy for all sorts of things and at half the cost of the squirt. Great product at a great price.
Can’t beat it for that price. Buy a few and just leave them in all your pockets. You’ll thank yourself later.
This is just a decent tool. Nothing bad, nothing outstanding. I don't think you can do much better for the price, and as for the size, it holds its own against micras
A great tiny tool at a great price. It's built to actually use as pliers over and over again, unlike most small and cheap tools like this. If you can't carry something bigger - or if the tasks you encounter wouldn't benefit from something bigger - then this is a great choice.
doesn't have any fancy opening mechanism-you have to pry it open with your fingers. drivers are a little stubby, but work well. It's pretty small-dont lose it. amazing, considering chinese origin.
I have had this dime for less than 1 year, hardly ever get it out of my pocket and use it. Tried to fix a zipper on my boots this morning (light use) and it fell apart. I would recommend buying a Leatherman!!!
