The Gator Fixed Blade Gut Hook knife has Gerber's famous Gator Grip handle. The inner core is glass-filled nylon with a molded Santoprene rubber overmold. The result is a soft, tactile grip over a very strong structure. This Gator Fixed Blade has a flat ground 420HC steel blade with bead blast finish and gut hook tip. The nylon sheath is rugged and features a molded plastic insert.

I was gifted this knife a few years ago for hunting and it has held up alright. I like the blade shape and the gut hook is very useful. The handle could have more/deeper texture for more grip in the field. The blade also could hold a better edge but that is to be expected for 420 steel. Overall, for a $30.00 knife it's a good budget buy.
