Wanted to like it, but had issues

So...I really wanted to like this knife and loved the styling, but I ran into the same issues that some others have had. The red/white piece slips around and isn't fastened in and the fit/finish of that piece is really bad. It's not smooth at all, the texture is really rough and it shows almost like machining marks and lines all over it.

This knife has a "half" stop, but it's really soft and in order to get to the half stop, the knife folds more than half way in so you will most likely cut your finger before you hit the half stop.

The main issue with this knife is the longevity of it. I carried it for a month and used it a few times a day. Just by opening and closing it those few times the mechanism has become very gritty and sticky (hard to describe), but it feels like the blade is wearing through the chrome-like plating on the slip-joint spring and instead of being smooth, it's almost like the feeling of rusty/pitted metal. Really disappointing.

Overall, for a sub $30 knife, I think there are better options out there. Even my Kershaw Pico at around $20 is a substantially better value. If you really want a slipjoint, I would look at another option unless you don't mind the issues I had.
