Description:
The LST knife was first brought to market by Pete Gerber back in 1980. He worked designer Blackie Collins to create an all-synthetic handle. The Ultralight LST is a mere 0.6 ounces thanks to a glass-filled nylon handle. The drop point blade is bead blast finished 420HC steel with full hollow ground edge and lock up with the steel framelock. The LST is a great keychain knife size and fitted with lanyard hole for attachment.
Love this knife! It has a sharp blade and locks up tight. So small and light you forget that it's in your pocket, but big enough to be useful. The only downside is that it is easy to lose. I attached a loop of bright colored paracord (guts removed) to make it easier to keep track of.
I have owned Gerber knives like this one for many many years. Great EDC knife!
I actually use this as my gentleman's carry when I have time dress up. It's crazy light and you have to use both hands to open since there's no thumb tab, but it looks and feels cool!
