Description:
The Tribeca knife is named after the neighborhood in Manhattan where the founders of Giantmouse—Jesper Voxnaes, Jens Anso, and Jim Wirth—have spent time drawing inspiration and forging bonds.
The GiantMouse Tribeca takes cues from the limited edition GM4 knife, but there are notable differences. This knife has an extra opening method, the thumb hole. This allows you to flick it open and watch it glide smoothly on its bearings. Another key difference on the Tribeca is the addition of a finger choil on its blade that complements the finger groove on its handle. This provide two ways to grip it, which allows better control and flexibility. Jimping has been added to the blade spine to push that even further. The Tribeca stands out as a nod to everything we love about GiantMouse knives: the perfect marriage of function and form. We highly recommend adding this knife to your EDC rotation!

Exceptional matetials and build quality. Fit and finish are spot-on. I just found my new favorite EDC. My first GiantMouse. Won't be my last. All of the rave reviews I've heard about GM are 100% true. Worth every dime.
I have a pretty decent collection and several knives that I'll carry depending on what I'll be doing. Very few I would consider well rounded enough to be up to every day tasks. This however is up to just about everything I would use a folder for. Honestly the only reason I took a star away is for how stiff the action is. The detent is much stronger that what I prefer and it's almost to the point that the thumb hole is useless. I can't get what I consider a good thumb flick 100% of the time and doing a reverse flick requires me to get more finger meat in the hole than what I personally like. If the thumb hole was the only method of deployment then I would honestly dislike this knife, so luckily there is a very good back flipper with some great jimping. I also would like to point out that comfort in the hand is top notch and a very attractive design and look.
