The Riv is a durable, yet compact, EDC folder in the GiantMouse ACE Line. Building on the design of the popular GM1, this knife has a capable flipper that delivers solid cutting performance in outdoor and urban environments alike. Its handle is ergonomically contoured for maximum comfort during use. The blade is made from quality steel with a thin flat grind and a fine cutting edge for easy slicing. The design features dual choils and a section of jimping mid-spine that allow for acute blade control and grip security.
GiantMouse Ace Riv Flipper knife has a smaller design, an epic handle, and blade finish that is coupled with new, modern materials.
It took me a day or two to get used to this little knife, but now that I have, I'm over the moon for it. Tiny carry; pocket it and forget it. SHARP! The thumb hole is hard to use with my right thumb, but it can be done. However, the flicker is quicker! GREAT build quality!
I just received this knife recently and thought I’d add my opinion on it. The great things are definitely the size and weight! Super compact, but feels solid as a rock when locked up. I love the design, finger choil makes up for what it lacks in overall size. And, oh yeah, ELMAX! I’m glad they went with awesome steel for this. Now I’m going, to be honest, I think the handle does create some hotspots, specifically where the ring finger sits over. Also, since the knife is on the smaller side, manipulating the flipper can be difficult if any weight is being put on the lock bar. Those are my only serious complaints, but those are super reasonable for the awesome knife you are getting. Stunning design and great fit and finish. If you are wondering if you’d like this design then I would check out the CRKT Pilar, that’s what made me want to seek out a higher quality vox design. I’d definitely recommend this knife, but just consider the cons I mentioned. Still very happy I have picked it up, spydie flicking this thing is ADDICTIVE
