I finally got the guardian tactical recon elite today. I've wanted one of these things since I first started seeing them online. I got the green, partially serrated version. I only own one other otf, the full-size Hogue incursion, and I've handled several Microtech at gun shows and whatnot. This guardian tactical is hands down the best. There is no comparison. If you like otfs, big knives, quality, and things made in this country, then pull the trigger, trust me.
Awesome, seems top of the line but its brand new. Ill put another review if it holds its sweetness and toughness over time.
Nice EDC. Very smooth action. Beats my Microtech hands down. There is no comparison. This GUARDIAN TACTICAL RECON- ELITE is ‘ so good. This is my third buy. Don’t waste money on cheap OTFs. Buy one of these. Very satisfying purchase. You will be happy. I hope this helps Jef C.
The pocket clip is totally unacceptable for a knife of this build quality. It's too shap, flimsy and it catches on everything. The clip alone drops my rating from a 10/10 to a 5.5/10.
