This is a very solid knife. Well put together, quality on par with Benchmade. No blade play whatsoever, and blade is perfectly centered when you close it. The strap cutter is easy to open but it also closes a little too easy for my liking — barely the friction of an old timey pocket knife. Lock-up of the main blade however is very solid. Carbide glass breaker tip is rounded, so no scratching glass with this one. Blade was very sharp out of the box, and a few passes on the ceramic honing stone and it was even sharper. Takes an edge like S30V. The G-10 scales are pretty amazing because of the detail — looks like molded polymer but it’s G-10 and this is Hogue’s expertise coming in. Overall I definitely recommend this knife.
