The 1095 Tumbled Series from Hazen Knives features high carbon 1095 steel and G-10; both are heavily tumbled, giving the knife a work-ready finish. This Large Model fixed blade is an extremely fine handcrafted knife that's outfitted with scalloped black G-10 scales. The grip and feel in hand are impressive, as is the overall look and design. Includes a Kydex sheath with belt clip.
Knife Care: 1095 steel will patina over time. To maintain the finish, wipe down with a high quality gun oil often.
Feels really good in hand. Hefty and balanced. A very handsome knife as well. I chopped a notch in a downed tree without too much effort. The sheath is another story. The sheath I received is different from the one pictured. It is regular Kydex with a belt loop/strap that requires two hands to remove the knife. A sticker on the bag says to use a Tek-Lok clip using the sheath's hardware so I purchased a Tek-Lok clip but no two holes match the sheath so I'm stuck with canvas loop for carry. Oh well so much for "made in America."
