This is a rugged, well made knife that has wicked cool aesthetics and amazing fit & finish. It opens incredibly smooth and the blade has the sharpest factory edge I've ever seen on a production knife. The pocket clip stinks however. It is incredibly tight, so much so that I could not get it clipped to my pants pocket without significant effort. In addition, the bottom tip of the clip sticks out way too much. It's a car door scraper to be sure. I removed the clip entirely, replaced it with a plate cover, thoughtfully provided to me by Hogue (at no charge) and would carry the knife in a Hogue molle sheath on my belt. Now, it's nearly perfect. This knife is more a collector's piece for me as it is a bit heavy for my EDC rotation. I prefer knives that weigh in at 3.5 oz. or less. The X5 is closer to 4.5 oz, but it is a beauty to be sure. It's a bit pricey, but I am glad it's in my collection.
