$20 Well Spent

For about $20 you get a solid easy to use no nonsense work horse of a knife. Nothing fancy just flat out solid knife and it's a Ka Bar who doesn't like a Ka Bar.

Not bad at all...

I bought this because I like the fact that is an all stainless steel knife and I really like this style of folder. I switched from a Puma Warden of the same style and shape to this knife as my EDC. The reversible pocket clip is nice. I wasn't sure of what to expect from an Asian made $17 dollar knife but I was not disappointed when it arrived. The weight in your hand is good. More heft than my Warden which is the same size and length blade. Stainless steel is heavy and I like that. The G10 panels on the handle are nice as well and it seems like a rugged no-nonsense type utility blade that is good for everything. If you lose one while fishing or something it isn't really a big deal at only $17. I'd rather lose a $17 knife than a $100 knife. I regularly eat with it. Minimal side to side play in the blade and a solid lock up as well. I like it so much I'll probably buy a few more at this price and give them to friends. Oil it well when you get it because it actually took a little while for it to loosen up enough to be opened with one hand. The oil helps.

Great knife for the price!

I had one of these for a year and it held up to a LOT of abuse. I used it as a hammer, a pry tool, a scraper, a screw driver, a filet knife, a skinning knife, and it held up to every task. I ended up breaking the blade when I accidentally dropped it from a rock face while hunting in the mountains. I bought a new one the same day and have used it just the same and it is still holding up great! The only reason why I’m not giving it five stars is because the handle is because the carry clip had some pretty sharp edges that cut into my pocket that I had to round out on both of my knives.

I'm in shock.
James M. on Oct 20, 2021

It's only 17 dollars and yet it has probably the best factory edge I'VE seen. Seriously it only took me 2 passes over a fine grit whetstone to get it shave sharp. Build quality is just as good as any knife I own. I only have 2 complaints. 1 Why don't they offer a version in an upgraded blade steel like d2 or aus 8. and 2 the blade was off center but this was easy to fix so it's not a big deal to me. I personally think this would make a great gift if you don't want to pay buck 110 money.

Not bad
Chris H. on Jun 8, 2018

It's a solid, nice knife but it is very, very stiff. Requires two hands to open and the release on the back is also extremely stiff and almost hurts to push down. But if you're manlier than I am (which you probably are) this won't be a big issue, and really isn't a deal breaker for me. Otherwise a very solid, big knife that is extremely sharp and cut through rugs very easily.
