Kanetsune Whetstone 1000 Grit

Medium 1000 grit Japanese whetstone intended for sharpening and refining knife edges after coarse grit work. Suitable for establishing a sharp working edge on kitchen knives, folders, and outdoor blades. Measures approximately 8.25" x 2.75" x 0.75" and is made in Japan by Kanetsune. Commonly used as the primary sharpening stage before polishing with finer grit stones.
