The Kershaw Dividend is designed after the hugely successful Link model, but offers users a slimmer build. Proudly made in the USA by Kershaw, the Dividend is built with a slender steel blade for daily slicing and piercing tasks. Its handle features a gentle curve that fits nicely in the hand for comfortable extended use. The Dividend is outfitted with a reversible tip-up pocket clip for secure everyday carry.

It's fantastic. Kershaw does a good job on their 420HC and this knife just makes light work out of any little utility job with it's blade geometry. I love it. It's essentially a razor blade with a wicked pointy tip.
I was debating between this knife and the Gerber Fastball. After having the opportunity to handle both these knives I felt that the Kershaw had a smoother action. (Fastball was really nice though). Everything about this knife rocks. The fact that it's US made is a major plus. Mine came pretty sharp out of the box and centering was decent. The grip is actually much less slick than I imagined. Only complaint I would make is the ergonomics of the knife which still isn't bad PS I don't see the flag printed on the handle in the pictures posted but I did see it in the video and my knife did have it printed. Great look
Received this as a promo from NAPA. Great knife, very sharp right out of box. Light weight and easy to carry, great flippin' action! Smooth operator. It wont replace my 940-2 from Benchmade but will find a place in my collection and in my pocket from time to time. Dont know how they make such a good knife at this price point but I hope they keep it up! I will be looking for more from Kershaw in the future!
Bought this as a backup carry for my ZT0452CF and I'm super impressed with this knife. Quick and smooth action, slim profile, and pretty light weight. The only thing that could make it better would be a deep carry clip. Also as always quick shipping from BladeHQ!
I agree with all reviews posted so far. Bought this as an additional everyday knife for general purpose use. Keep it on me due to weight, easy action, and well...it just looks darn cool, even with dress pants. Yes, the blade dulls easier than some & can be frustrating if you pull it out to cut rope, etc. when doing home projects. Easy to get hair shaving edge so if you keep up w/ sharpening this knife is outstanding! I love my Kershaw 1812 w/ S30V but it’s larger & heavy. Each knife fills a given purpose- and the Dividend does just that in Spades!
There are only a few kershaw that has extremely great action. This knife is one of them. It is fairly thin so this knife isn't meant for extremely hard duty use, but with Kershaw's warranty, you don't need to worry much. Cool gift for non-knife people.
This knife comes sharp enough, but the steel gets dull a tad bit quick. But it's a dream to sharpen and it's easy to get a great edge on it so that makes it great in my book. It's My main edc. The spring assist is solid and doesn't feel like it would go off in the pockets. 10/10 would recommend my dudes
I bought the Dividend because I wanted something thin and light but more capable than the Leek. I have 6 ZT,s and they are incredible but on the larger and heavier side. The Dividend is an excellent EDC Knife for when I’m wearing slacks or a suit. It is incredibly fast and extremely light. Feels good in my hand. USA Made and very good quality. Locks up solid, no lateral play in the blade open or closed. Blade centers well when closed. Exactly what I was looking for! I highly recommend this knife.
The Dividend is a worthy successor to the Leek. Not that the Leek is going away, the Dividend is the new kid of the block feeling the same role as the Leek. I can't wait till there is a carbon fiber version better steel version of this guy.
I was looking for lightweight flipper that I could EDC at my office, that is made in The United States of America, and is lefty friendly. This new Dividend fit the bill perfectly. Weighing in at a feather light 2.93 oz. I forget it's on me. The speed safe action on it is lighting fast and silky smooth. One of my favorite aspects is that it has four different options for where you want to place your deep concealment clip. For the price, and the cold hard fact that it's made right here in the United States of America. It's my new favorite EDC. This was my first transaction with Blade HQ due to over sites trying to charge nearly twice the amount for this same model. Fast shipping. I'll be doing business with them again.
This is one of my favorite knives for edc.
I have to carry all the way in the pocket at work. I really like the Link but it's just a bit too big for comfy all day in the pocket carry. I was never a big fan to the Leek's handle shape. Enter the Dividend. This thing is great. Quick action, light weight, a grip shape that fits my hand well, and the texture on the aluminum is grippy without being aggressive. I don't know how they are making this thing in the States and at this price. I can't recommend this knife enough, I may buy a few more for gifting.
