Description:
It's a Knockout in more ways than one. The Kershaw Knockout looks great, but the reason it bears this name is that a piece of the lightweight aluminum handle has been "knocked out" and inset with a stainless-steel plate to create a frame lock called the Sub-Frame Lock. You get the lightweight benefits of aluminum handles and the strength of a steel frame lock with integral lockbar stabilization. This Kershaw folder also features SpeedSafe assisted opening. It's equipped with the new deep-carry clip and is drilled for quad-carry: tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed.

Weighs 3.32 oz./94.2 gr according to my digital scale, half oz lighter than normal. This is the best use of the sub frame lock, cuts down on the weight and feels very nice, the carbon fiber does have a slight texture to it. It's the best version of of what was until recently Kershaws best model. If there's ever a bareknuckle in this set up, it'll be kershaws best ever knife.
