The Lifter is a tactical folder with attitude. It features a BlackWash finished blade and handle, which not only gives it a worn-in look, it also provides an extra measure of protection for the metal. Kershaw's Lifter is equipped with SpeedSafe® assisted opening for fast and easy one-handed opening. It opens neatly with the built-in flipper or thumbstud. A sturdy frame lock safely secures the blade open during use, and then closes easily for storage or carry. Includes a deep-carry pocket clip.
This was my EDC for about four years straight. I knew very little about actual knife anatomy and just knew that I needed one since I kept losing all my cheap farmer's market knives. Got it for $20, used it every day and surprisingly enough rarely had to sharpen it thanks to the unique blade shape. I still like to carry it every once in a while despite having many more now all with higher grade metal, it made a great utility blade on construction jobs.
For the price, I decided to order two. As with my other Kershaw's, my expectations were blown away. What a great knife! Well centered blade, no blade play and vicious sharp right out of the box! Great weight and the fit and finish far exceeded the price point. I've been buying some of the latest Kershaw offerings in multiples due to both the quality and price point. Very, very satisfied and would highly recommend this one at twice + the price!
Love the recurve blade, this is a great value for a knife like this.
It is a great edc
I got this knife almost a year ago and I love it. My only problems with it are that it's a little difficult to sharpen with regular stones, and the pocket clip is a bit tight. Other than that, a great knife.
Got this knife early January funtions great, feels comfortable, carry it all the time. But, recently it started making this rattling noise whenever it’s open and I shake it. Doesn’t do it when Its closed though which is weird. And the gimping on the frame lock hurts my thumb after a while. But other than that great knife
This Kershaw works nicely and is easily opened but I had a heck of a time closing it. The lock was way too hard to push to get it closed. I ended up taking a screwdriver and bending the lock to the outside of the knife to loosen it up. After that it was easier to close. For the price, it’s ok but I think it’s heavy and bulky. The blade is kind of cool shaped. I think there are better choices even at this price.
