Nice knife

Very nice durable feeling knife. The blade doesn't hold its edge as well as my Launch 1 but that comes with a cheaper steel. I bought a M390 Link for my dad and I am so jealous I will probably be buying one for myself as well. I wish those came in a multitude of colors. This knife though is beyond worth the price, with the exceptional Kershaw quality
An excellent cheapish knife

Everyone needs a cheap knife that they can throw at any task without worrying about it too much. It's the one made of so-so steel that just gets the job done.
And in that class and price point, the quality of this knife is exceptional. Beautiful finish on the blade, which arrived shaving sharp and is thin enough to be a great slicer. The assisted action, well... you either love them or hate them. If you love them, this one is lots of fun, and it also closes easily with one hand. The beveling and finish on the scales makes it feel great in the hand. For this price, you can't go wrong. Another great affordable Kershaw.

Overall I love this knife. The looks and design of this are spectacular, fit and finish is immaculate, especially considering the price point. You get what you pay for with the blade material quality, and overall it is a great knife. That being said, I absolutely hate to carry it. The pocket clip is loose, and likes to slide around. This has caused me to lose it when sitting down on several occasions. I resorted to deep carry which caused the scales to get scratched and ruin the once beautiful appearance of this knife. All in all, I love it, but it isn't a workhorse.
Friday night accessory ..

It's a nice accessory but the steel is a bit soft and doesn't hold an edge as well as other companies 420hc. In doing normal edc tasks such as whittling (if your a county boy like me lol), cutting zip ties, 550 cord or other cordage. So there's that and also side-to-side play on the pocket clip that I cannot tighten out so it scratches the paint. That's okay for a work knife but this has been made my "fancy" knife due to lack of edge retention and it being pritty. But for under $50 there are better knives that are better at being a knife than a Friday night accessory
Excellent EDC

This is a work horse. I had to put my own edge on this knife with a works sharpener to make it EDC sharp but it turned it into an amazing knife!!! Quick open and decent pocket clip. The stone wash has help up well the past few months.
Good EDC for a good price

What can I say its Kershaw quality! Great knife at a good price. perfect for an EDC. Smooth decently fast spring assist action. Sits beautifully in hand. For an under $50 EDC its great.

Pros: Smooth action, Nice finish, sits great in hand, TIP UP pocket clip, durable finish.

Cons: Needs Jimping on the rear of the blade, can be a tad slippery on the thumb with no jimping.
Made in the USA!!!

For under $50 dollars this knife is a perfect budget EDC thats all American Made. The Speedsafe opening is smooth and quick. Add a deep carry pocket clip and this knife would be even better.
The price is right

Great build quality, snappy opening, fills my big hands, looks great. Only complaint is the edge retention and it's a bit on the heavy side for me.
Best bang for buck

This knife is a killer deal. The assist, the blackwash, and the blue ano handle are all beautiful. I love my cryo II in the under $50 market, but this blew it out of the water. I highly recommend it!
Okay edc knife

This knife is really sleek in the pocket because of the aluminum handles. I got this because it is a very attractive knife. I don't like how the body screws are free-spinning. Other than that, this knife is great. I showed my cousin and he really liked it as well.
Great for the money

I bought this knife primarily because of it's looks. I love the blue aluminum handles, blade shape, and the blackwash blade. This is just about all the knife does for me. I was slightly disappointed with the SpeedSafe action on the knife. It seems relatively clunky and slow compared to that of the Kershaw Leek. In addition to this, the knife is too heavy to be used for everyday carry in my opinion. Overall, I haven't found much enjoyment or use out of the Link, other than looking at it

Opens fast, sharp, made in the U.S.-- for under $50. One of my favorite knives. Thank you Kershaw and Blade HQ.

This knife looks great and feels great. The ergonomics fit my hand very nicely. The action is very fast and works without fail. If you use the flipper to open the Link, the knife will make a very loud snap/click upon locking into place (it can be heard even in a loud restaurant. The backspacer feels very nice. Steel is very nice. No problems when the knife comes out of the box. I would like more gimping and a skeletonized liner, but that is not a problem.
It is a durable knife but it will dull

Overall a great knife, made in the USA (Great work Kershaw) the only issue is the blade steel 420HC... it will loose its sharpen edge really really fast. If you want something with a better steel but Imported go and look at the Kershaw Cryo
It’s pretty good

The knife is handsome but I feel like it lacks something. I can’t pinpoint what it is. Still a great knife

This knife has restored some trust back into kershaw! It uses decent materials, is well made, and looks fantastic. Gave away as gift and liked it so much I'm going to get one for myself.

This knife is an excellent value/edc. Made is the USA. Great fit and finish for the price point. I deducted a star because the handle is just a little to small and feels cramped in large hands
Great knife

My first impression of the knife was wow, this knife looks awesome. The blue is very vibrant and looks almost blurple in certain lighting. The knife feels beefy without being overly heavy. It's built very well and no blade play. The aluminum scales are grippy, they have a texture that provides nice purchase. I wish it had a thumbstud, but it opens like a speedsafe should, snappy. Overall a well built and great looking knife. Would highly recommend this purchase.
