I got this knife and was amazed by how great it felt in my hands.

Pros:
1. Great ergonomics.
2. Good sized blade.
3. The color is great, sometimes the handle looks purple in certain lighting.
4. The pocket clip is just about perfect, great retention and it looks nice black with the dark grey aluminum scales!
5. Its made in the USA! Come on guys and gals that’s awesome!

Cons:
1. Heavy
2. The steel is okay and you cant get a great sharp edge with it but it is soft and is probably a 420/1,000 in edge retention. I gave it a 420/1,000 because the steel being 420 and I think it makes sense.
3. The last body screw is free spinning and I cannot take it apart anymore, the second body screw stripped out very easily and the speedsafe spring broke fairly quickly.
4. Without the speedsafe spring it is unsafe to carry because it can unfold with light pressure and ive cut myself bad trying to get it out of the pocket.

All in all it is a great knife if you want a beater knife. If you want to use it all the time and maintain it I recommend you take the last screw out if possible and dont use blue Loctite on any of the screws but the pivot and pocket clip screws.

Great knife light in the pocket, feels great in the hand. Great design and very sharp right out of the box. Far surpasses my expectations for the price of this knife. Best of all MADE IN THE U.S.A.
Good working knife - Liners Not Milled Out.

This knife resembles the Launch 1 and was released around the same time.

If you are looking for a knife to use on the job this should suffice. However, if you want to carry this blade everyday I would suggest you look at something a little lighter. At almost 5 ounces you'll know this is on you.

If the liners were milled out it would be an awesome competitor to the famous Tenacious 4/5 - It makes a great gift.

Excellent design and USA made to boot. Great ergonomics, chamfering all around. Blade fits well even in my big hands. Rides well in pocket. Opens smoothly and quickly, a little on the strong side. The Link definitely changed my opinion of assisted openers. Steel is rather soft, but easy to sharpen and strop. Excellent fit and finish.

Just received this knife and I am very satisfied. Blade is sharp out of the box and I have already used it several times after having it three days. Kershaw made a great product which is made here at home in the USA. Price can't be beat either. It's a beauty too.
