first off, I didn't buy this knife from bladehq. I have an older model of this knife and have had it for almost 7 years. there is some slight play in the blade but it is nothing to be concerned about. my safety did break but I never used it. I have beat this knife to death and the spring is still working like brand new. I did accidentally hit the tip on concrete, but it just rolled over which is an easy fix on a sharpening stone. there are only two things I don't like about this knife is that you can't change where the pocket clip is. And the pocket clip will need to be bent slightly because it's really tight. overall this is a good knife for most everyday tasks.
