The TX Tool now makes it possible to adjust all of your Kershaw knives with one convenient tool. Whether switching out a pocket clip, adjusting a pivot or tightening a screw, you've now got the right tool for the job. This screwdriver set comes with 5 key bits, a T-6, T-8, T-10, Phillips and slotted bits. It is equipped with a magnetic bit driver making it easy to change out the bits, which store conveniently in the tool's handle. Keep all of your Kershaw knives finely tuned with the Kershaw TX Tool.
Not 0.25" bits.
Comes in handy. Like that it's a pen design so it's easy to carry or pack.
I carry this tool with me everyday in case I need to perform maintenance on any of my blades. Has all of the essential bits 99% of my blades use.
This is perfect for taking on the go . Takes up no space at all. You can service most knives with the included 3 torx bits and 2 screwdriver bits.. There is even room in the handle to put extra bits you might need. Just buy one.
For $7, this tool is a no brainer. 5 different bits, including 3 torx sizes make it an amazing value. A Nice aluminum body that holds the bits great. Should be about the only knife tool you need for most things.
you could spend twice as much but why this does the same thing
Inexpensive and convenient. Think of it as a back up for when you are on the go. Would have liked to have a smaller precision phillips head in addition but can't really complain with the price. I just added some spare bits from another set. You can fit another 4 bits of the same size (9 in all) in the handle. Best recommended to round out your shopping cart or just get one as a back up.
I ended up getting this tool bc really I just needed some bits but figured for the price might as well get a little pen driver to use in my EDC rotation.... I really like the tool. The bits are a little soft.... The t6 stripped the first use and I was even being careful (I use precision stuff all the time at work) it literally broke the ends of the star making it basically useless... I have other t6's so I'm not devastated, but now I am leary of the other bits... In all for the price it's a decent setup
Compact, great price, great idea, only problem is the bits are not hardened but soft and break/round easy.
really great deal but it seems poorly designed, if you have more than 2 heads in the body of the screw driver at a time then they end up getting stuck due to friction. if the inner diameter of the body was a mm bigger this wouldnt be an issue but as is i can only carry 2 bits in the body at a time.
I wanted to love this thing, but the bits are really soft and the T-6 is completely chewed up after having it for less than a month because it's the one I have to use to switch all my pocket clips.
I would not recommend this tool at all. The very first time I used it to take the clip off my Kershaw the T6 bit stripped out. And then, BladeHQ denied my return request with no explanation. Caveat Emptor
I needed to replace a bent clip on my Kershaw Leek so I went to buy a bit set to take care of that. I saw the Kershaw TX Tool and bought it because it was reviewed well and cheap. Well, it removed one screw then the tool got stripped on the second. The bits are extremely soft. I recommend investing a lasting set from Wiha. I bought the 26 in 1 tool from them and it has stood up well as I have adjusted all my knives to fit my purposes.
