Paid reviewers will say that this blade isn’t thin behind the bevel, and that’s true. Which they go on to explain means it’s not the best slicing blade… which is true as well. But after a couple times being honed, this puppy becomes one heck of a cutter! The blade is thick and heavy. Great weight to it. The things blade just shoots out with a thump. All of which makes it cuts like it wants to be battoned - and it looks great doing as much. I love the stupid thing! I bet the thumb stud blade is a blast to flick too.
If you like the warnecliff/sheepsfoot style blades then you will love this knife. I use mine all the time for cutting and opening things out in crop fields and it has yet to let me down. the action is buttery smooth and requires little maintenance. Recommend it, especially at the price it's at now. Premium knife with a budget price ATM.
