Description:
Based on Ray Laconico's custom design, the Kizer Yorkie is a compact EDC folder with a clean and simple build. This model is equipped to handle the simple and tougher cutting tasks throughout your day. What makes it a great EDC option is the compact size and lightweight build that keeps you free of feeling that extra heft in your pocket.
The Kizer Yorkie comes in multiple finishes and handle materials. Which is your favorite?
This is my favorite Kizer Knife. It's a simple elegant knife. I like the size and design. It came very sharp and the action is superb. I like titanium folders and this one is a keeper.
Near perfect for a small pocket knife. Despite the small size, the ~3 oz weight makes it feel solid, and the high quality finish and smooth action confirm it. The flipper seemed to stick sometimes, but after some experimenting, I found that it likes a certain "touch", like some of the newer electronic gadgets and their touch screens. Suffice to say it works. The things I'd like to improve (minor issues) are I'd like a rougher handle, and a pocket clip like some of the Spyderco's or Microtech's, rather than have that "bump" at the end of the clip. All told, a very clean look and feel, good weight for the size, great blade, sharp, smooth action -- easy to recommend.
