Description:
The Kizer Maverick Customs Harpoon Mini bridges the gap from EDC knife to outdoor utility knife. With its CPM 10V blade it can slice like none other. The micarta handle is sculpted into a broom handle style handle with a shallow finger choil, allowing a variety of grips and excellent versatility. This knife includes a scout style Kydex sheath. If you're looking for the perfect fixed blade knife to add to your collection; look no further.

I have fairly large hands and this it about a three and a half finger grip but with that being said it fits in my hand really well! it’s a really thin slicey blade which also looks really nice. the sheath is really good too with no issues so far. this is a great size for carrying in my pocket on a static cord. I really didn’t expect this knife to be as good as it is but already it’s become one of my favorites.
After experiencing how amazing cpm 10V steel can be, I made a rule that I would try to buy anything in 10V that I see available when I'm able. It's not a commonly used steel, but it should definitely be used more. Really fine grain makes the edge aggressive and sticky sharp, even with a fine high grit edge. The edge retention is absolutely amazing as well. You've got to experience it, and at this price it's a no brainer. The knife design of this is also great. Kizer did awesome with this. The micarta has a nice texture in the hand, the neutral handle shape will accommodate many sized hands and grips, the subtle finger choil locks you in comfortably, the blade is ground nice and thin but not delicate, and the harpoon shape provides a natural place for your finger to rest. If the full size version of this was made in 10V as well, it would be an instant buy for me. My only gripe with this purchase is the sheath comes with a tek lok style clip. it is secure and allows for a few different angles of carry, but I would prefer a clip that could be carried in or clipped to a pocket considering this is a smaller knife. If you're on the fence about this rarely utilized steel, buy it.
