Kizer Roach XL
Designed by Matt Degnan, the Kizer Roach XL is a practical folding knife built for reliable everyday use. The standout feature is its slightly curved handle, which is shaped to fit comfortably in the hand and provide a secure grip during tough cutting tasks. This ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue and gives you excellent control over the knife, whether you are making precise cuts or putting pressure on heavier materials.
The knife features a utilitarian drop point blade that balances a strong tip for piercing with a clean belly for slicing. Opening the knife is straightforward and versatile, offering both a flipper tab and a thumb hole so you can deploy the blade smoothly with one hand.
For safety, the Roach XL uses a button liner lock mechanism. This system keeps the blade securely locked in place while open, and allows you to close the knife by pressing a button on the side. Because this setup keeps your fingers completely out of the blade's path when closing it, operation is safe and simple. Overall, the Kizer Roach XL focuses on smart ergonomics and functional safety, making it a dependable tool for your daily carry.
