The Blade HQ Exclusive Begleiter you really want is here, with a natural canvas micarta handle and a black BD1N blade, and you can only find it at Blade HQ.Features:
Begleiter comes from the German language meaning "companion." Designed for those who prefer a slim profile, the Begleiter delivers. The handle is inset from the liners and keeps this knife incredibly lightweight and subtle in the pocket. It has an open-build with two barrel spacers on either side of the elongated lanyard hole. The EDC-ready design includes a reversible tip-up carry clip. A caged ball bearing pivot ensures a smooth and reliable action. The craftsmanship of the Kizer Begleiter is finished off completely by hand for sharpening, quality inspection, and is put to the test. Kizer Cutlery strives to bring the best knives forward while keeping them affordable.

I bought one during the Blade HQ holiday. Easily worth double, even triple that amount. Micarta is so nice. Matte black on all metal gives it an awesome look. A little stiff at first but now pops open and locks tight. Pretty light for such a big knife. Slicey. Curious to see long-term how the BD1N steel works out. Liking it so far. Hope to buy in other steel/handle configurations. Neat knife.
For the price, I don't expect super high tolerances or an amazing fit and finish.. but when the knife came.. the liner lock didn't even engage when the blade opened all the way; even when I tried to force it. When I contacted kizer.. they told me to try and grind down lock myself.. Also the blades not aligned to center, no matter how many times I take it apart, clean it, adjust the screws, it doesn't align to center. Truly regret buying this one.
