Bad Lock Stick, Blade Play, Loose Pivot and Off Center Blade Right Out of the Box
David S. on Jul 8, 2019

For a $400 knife, the one that I received has an amazing amount of lock stick, right out of the box. I can use home brewed remedies to get rid of a good amount of the lock stick "click", but for a $400 knife, I should not have to do so. Also, the blade was delivered off center, with the pivot screw loose and with blade play. I was able to resolve the blade play and most of the centering, but not the lock stick. I think I am going to end up returning it to BladeHQ for a refund. For $150, I might look the other way, but for nearly $400, Alliance Designs needs to be aware of the lousy quality control being used to pump out their knives.
