The Responder X9 is an exact replica of Mikkel Willumsen's custom work. The Sandovik 12C27 steel blade is designed to stand up to anything you can throw at it while still retaining cutting ability, corrosion resistance, and edge. The two-tone finish on the blade, black and green G-10 scales, curved handle with finger grooves, and stainless steel pommel with lanyard hole are all part of Willumsen's concept of functionality combined with urban aesthetics. The Responder X9 is designed for convenient carry and easy access.

the best knife for a good price
J M.
It is a great knife and I was very pleased with it, sadly my sister fell in love with it and I gave it to her, I have no complaints about this blade.
A lot of knife for the money!

For what they charge for this knife it is almost robbery. You are getting wayyyy more than you pay for! Understand by no means that this is NOT a small knife! If you are a big guy with large hands then this is a perfect knife for you. The blade spine is massive and locks with authority. Yes there is a hole to open the blade but it's not placed well to deploy it {use the flipper}. That being said the knife fills the hand very well with no hot spots whatsoever. The G10 scales give great grip and the jimping is well placed {subtle but effective}. The only nit pick I have is with the clip. It's very flush for a knife of this size and does make it tough to clip to the pants pocket {a little bending should take care of that}. Yeah this ain't no lightweight pocket knife but if you are into the large blades this will be a welcome addition to your collection.
Beastly, Heavy Knife
Chris K.
Was very impressed by design versus price point. Upon reception, I noticed the blade edges were almost as sharp as the blade itself...needed quite a bit of work grinding the edges so as not to cut myself drawing from my pocket. Blade is VERY sharp out of blister pack making for a large, heavy carry knife, wonderful for many tasks but too bulky to carry well in most clothing. Happily delegated to collection folder until I can come up with a pair of pants heavy enough to hold this monster. Still, a great expression of a quality knifemaker @ a bargain price.
