To piggyback off Micah's review, I've found that if you actually remove the black rubber o-ring that comes with it, and simply screw it closed real, real tight, it will retain fluid for months and months, like it's supposed to. For whatever reason, the o-rings aren't a great fit and can cause fluid to evaporate too soon. Still gave it 5 stars because it works great, minus o-ring

I have both the cheap chinese knockoff of the pea lighter and this split pea. I have noticed that actually the chinese one retains its fluid, and this one loses it within a week. The chinese one has lit for 3 months and still going.
