The Split Pea is a tiny version of the popular Peanut lighter. It is constructed of 300 series stainless steel, with a threaded and o-ring sealed cap so you can store it for a long period of time without the fluid drying out. These lighters use standard liquid lighter fluid that you will need to add on your own. Great survival and everyday carry lighter that won't weigh you down.
This is the smallest quality lighter you will find. If you need a EDC for those just in case times this is the one. Because of it's size, it holds only a small amount of liquid fluid. With such a small amount of fluid I fill mine once a week. If you use a lighter often, you need the larger size. But for a just to have size. I Love this little one. Dr. Larry
Good lighter... just lubricate the o-ring for better seal and viola! Takes a few flicks to light up sometimes.
Filled this little gem up with fluid, lit it a few times and hung it on a toolbox. I had some repairs to make so grabbed tools and went to fix the fence. I needed a lighter so I grabbed the peanut lighter instead of Bic and nothing. Lots of sparks but no flame. The butane was dry as a bone, even being filled full and sealed with nice O ring feature. Went home and checked my other one and ditto. No flame. I will now focus on the Numyth Tohil peanut lighter to see if better results.
