First Tang

I recently got this and love the tang opening and use it often. I love any ambidextrous opening as a left handed knife user and recommend it to any lefty looking for something new and comfortable to use. I don't have any complaints on this besides that for this price point I would have hoped for something a little better than AUS-8. That said the blade preforms great and better than my experience with other AUS-8 blades.
Extraordinary Tang-flipper

The Starlight Carbon was my first folding knife amongst my now growing collection. Needless to say I was excited when I ordered and received it. The tang opening felt new to me and I was used to it by the end of the day. The knife was smooth to open, locked up well, and at a glance appeared flawless. Upon closer inspection I did find minor blemishes in the carbon fiber, mostly between the handle scales. The blade sat slightly off center. Honestly, to complain about these things would be nothing short of nitpicking. The knife felt clean and comfortable, the jimping gripped well and the lock was easy on the thumb. I could not have picked a more suiting first knife.
