This Production Bowie Chef has an 8" blade made of Damascus-clad VG-10 and a black micarta handle.
Where is the American chef knife? For many years we have become familiar with a multitude of Japanese knives as well as many popular German and the French shapes. But what about us? The United States has a rich, deep culinary history, but no domestic chef's knife to call its own, until now.
Mattia @mattia.borrani.cutlery designed the Bowie Chef™ to pay homage to an original American shape that is steeped with almost 200 years of history. Our constant drive for innovation, creativity, and freedom to pick and choose the best from our melting pot of cultures is what makes up the United States, and is what this chef's knife is all about.

I saw this one featured on one of Blade HQs YouTube videos and decided to add some art to my knife block, and it’s a straight joy to use. I don’t have a lot of really high end kitchen cutlery, some wustof at the same price point, but the style and feel of this knife are far above anything I’ve had before. Well done!
