I received my mcusta tsuchi (small) today. I am very impressed with this gentlemen's folder. It is solidly built. The Nickel covered Damascus overlay covering a vg 10 core blade has no up or down nor side to side play whatsoever. The look of this knife has an old world Japanese sword-like feel to it in miniature . The look of the hammered stainless steel scales continues out to the upper part of the blade on both sides and the spine is gently rounded over. It has some heft to it although it certainly is not heavy. It is comfortable in the hand, but I believe I will lose the clip. To me, it just distracts from the beauty of this knife. Two complaints: (1) the insides of the scales where the thumb studs sit when the blade is closed were not rounded over at all and was very sharp! With gentle care, I took a small fingernail sand board and rolled the inside sharp edges over til they were no longer sharp. Case solved! And (2) the "blue" anodized thumb studs as well as the pivot are a dull gray ... not blue at all. But, for me, that is not a deal breaker. I love my new knife! Oh, BTW, the blade is WICKEDLY sharp! Thank you, BladeHQ ... I'm a happy camper!
