Description:
At Blade HQ, we believe that camouflage must change with the times to be truly effective. That's why we collaborated with Microtech to create a functional piece of tactical equipment: the Dessert Warrior Ultratech. Inspired by a typo of our famous Desert (one s!) Warrior, the Dessert Warrior quickly picked up a cult following that you can read about in our Dessert Warrior overview article. This overpowered OTF machine stands out in your collection but blends in at your favorite coffee and donut spot—because we know where you're really spending your time.
This sprinkled Ultratech marries our favorite Microtech features with our favorite colorway. You'll feel the sugar rush as you push the thumb slide and experience the explosive automatic action. And thanks to Microtech, this Dessert Warrior Ultratech has an immaculate fit and finish and stringent quality control, so this is a tool you can rely on as a civilian and an operator. A glassbreaker tops off this tactically-sweet design. If you're looking for a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art that can demolish any task all the while, do not miss out on the Dessert Warrior Ultratech!
**The decorative sprinkle finish is prone to show wear when subjected to hard use.
love it.. happy and lucky to have been able to purchase one. very pleased
I recently bought a Bounty Hunter Microtech for $802 plus tax, and it was my 1st high end blades. I just returned it, and wrote a negative review on it because I felt it was WAY overpriced, and made me question the hype around Microtech's. That blade was not tight, the blade was slightly wobbly, the button was loose and clicky, it constantly came off track, AND IT COSTED $880 AFTER SHIPPING!! I really felt odd when I saw every review on basically every Microtech being 5 stars and great reviews, because I felt this Bounty Hunter Combat Troodon was NOT what everyone said it'd be.... This Dessert edition blade TOTALLY turned my opinion around about Microtechs. Everything on it is perfect. Tight blade, tight button, spring tension is even and opens and closes with equal "snap." It's size is perfect as well. And to top it off, it came in a limited edition PINK FROSTED SPRINKLE DONUT pattern!! I think most guys would shy away from this paint job or design, but that's why I like it: it's unique, not a boring blade that thousands have, and me personally, I've had a think for cupcakes and donuts since I was a kid (im not fat and like chick's, just something I've been into for whatever reason). It's basically a knife Homer Simpson would call his EDC, IF he doesn't accidentally eat it. Anyway, awesome blade, im hoping they do a 2nd run so I can get another and have one be my edc that I can tarnish and marr and not feel TOO guilty about!
My expectations were blown out of the park with this knife. The quality and attention to detail is incredible.
Well, I guess I’m one of the lucky ones to get one of these first batch, sweet sweet, OTFs, The anodizing or cerakoat is exceptional on this, of course the typical awesome Microtec action, and fit and finish. I would highly recommend any microtech.
I'm needing this. Pretty please drop it.
