The Microtech UTX-85 D/E Gen IV brings the latest refinements from Microtech's Ultratech Gen IV platform into a more compact OTF automatic design. Measuring smaller than the full-size Ultratech while maintaining its streamlined profile, the UTX-85 is designed for convenient everyday carry without sacrificing the performance expected from a Microtech automatic.

This model features a 3.1" double-edge Böhler M390MK blade with a Stonewash finish, providing a durable and versatile cutting edge with a rugged appearance. The Outbreak Green aluminum handle keeps the knife lightweight and durable while giving it a distinctive finish.

The Gen IV platform incorporates Microtech's Dual-Fuel Drive Train, a redesigned internal mechanism engineered for smoother, more reliable, and easier blade deployment and retraction. It also features Microtech's Crud Kutter, a proprietary self-cleaning system designed to help channel lint, dirt, and debris away from the internal action.
