The Microtech UTX-70 (named for being 70% smaller than their popular Ultratech model) is the most compact, high-quality OTF automatic knife on the market. The Microtech name excites fantasies of wicked edges, powerful automatic action, and amazing American designs; though the UTX-70 is small, once it's in your hand, you'll see those fantasies transform into reality. The UTX-70 is the perfect knife to tuck away in your breast pocket for fancy events, use for everyday cutting tasks, or just open letter with—in mad style. It's fidgety, well-made, tough, razor-sharp, and ready to live up to the hype.

To the guy below saying about it breaking. It came off the tracks pull the blade and your good to go. So if you want a super-small ultra-light OTF. The 70 might be the best option out there!
I picked up the updated version of the UTX-70 with the added chassis jimping. Was unsure about the size, but though I would give it a shot. SO GLAD I DID! Same great Ultratech walk and talk of the action. Is fun and easy to open and close and fidget. Is so small and thin it just disappears in your pocket and makes a Polymer Magnacut Hogue Deka feel heavy. You still get the strong lock up and comfortable grip. As well all the little details done right from a Microtech that you expect on the larger models. It is small, but still feels 100% capable for any general EDC tasks. I would definitely recommend if your looking for a small, classy, and lightweight EDC automatic.
I bought this knife about 2-3 weeks ago and I have opened and closed it maybe 10-15 times. Today I opened it once and heard a clicking noise. Now the knife slide switch feels disconnected from the blade. The blade just pulls in and out and the switch just moves back and forth. Extremely disappointed in Microtech. I guess I have to inconvenience myself to send the knife back to Microtech for them to fix it or whatever they do. I guarantee if it happens once it’ll happen again. I just want my money back.
