The OKC3S Marine Bayonet is a solid-built model in Ontario's Military Tactical line of knives. It has a black coated 1095 steel blade with a partially serrated cutting edge and sharpened clip point. The ribbed brown handle is sturdy in hand. The OKC3S Marine Bayonet comes with a glass-filled nylon (GFN) scabbard with belt loop and MOLLE compatible attachment nylon.
While I like a couple of other, older bayonet designs better in the aesthetics department, this blade is unique in that it is a very solid, functional field knife that also happens to be able to attach to the end of a rifle. Most bayonets are basically useless for any work other than being stabby on the end of a firearm. This one is good steel and strong enough to hold up to whatever abuse you need to throw it in a bush emergency. Probably this will surprise no one as it was developed for the USMC, a service with a history of worshiping its blades and being so poorly funded that everything it owns has to fill multiple roles.
