Pro-Tech Half-Breed Automatic Knife Blue (1.95" Stonewash) 3605-BLUE

I've been researching California Legal autos for some time now. I devoured everything I could on my options as I'm not a knife expert but am pretty efficient when it comes to making informed decisions. I settled on a Half-Breed but couldn't find one 'for love nor money' anywhere. Finally, I contacted Protech themselves to find out if/when they'd be making another batch. My email was returned by the Protech owner, Dave. I was so impressed that the owner bothered to contact me directly and explain their lengthy manufacturing process. I ended up buying two as they seem to sell out so quickly, black/black and blue/stonewash. In addition, the batches that they make appear to be relatively small. The knives themselves are stunning looking and incredibly well made. Everything, from the knives, 'feel' to the snap of their mechanism wreaks of quality. As I intend to give them to my son's (when they're old enough to appreciate workmanship) the 'Anniversary' gift box and overall presentation was great. I have several 'Cali-legal' autos now and the half-breed is my favorite by far. I've been won-over by Protech for sure.
