The Pro-Tech TR-3 is from the Tactical Response series, but is also one of the best EDC knives in the Pro-Tech lineup. The knife has a utilitarian drop point blade with a swedge and a slicy belly. The handle is contoured for secure grip in even a forward or reverse grip. Be it for self defense or slicing an apple, the TR-3 is here for you!
Like the Pro-Tech TR-3? It comes in several colors, handle textures, and custom variations!
This is by far the best automatic knife i've ever owned.the craftsmanship is superb, the look and feel is outstanding.absolutely love this knife.thanks protech and bladeHQ
Great auto knife, awesome fit and finish and very strong action. One of my favorite autos... expect great performance from this blade. If you are considering a Protech... buy one and see for yourself!
The fit and finish of this knife is superb. The lockup is also excellent - zero blade play in any direction. Highly recommended.
This knife has been my everyday carry since I received it. I have had to sharpen it just twice in the 2.5 years it has been in my pocket. The black anodized handle has some silver spots from wear, but who cares. Its a work knife that locks up iron hard and is still as fast as the day it came out of the box. I just love it and am super pleased. Thanks BladeHQ and BladePlay.
Absolutely everything on this knife from the grind bevels and razor edge to the ergonomics and fit and finish is 100% flawless and I mean EVERYTHING! Built like a tank with ZERO blade play. When open it feels like a full tang fixed blade. The fish scale handle looks great and is grippy enough without being overly abrasive. All of this toughness but doesn't feel heavy in your hand at under 4 ounces. The balance point is where it should be right in the finger choil. The auto action is crisp and I love the sound it makes when it locks open. Flawless perfection from Pro-Tech. Worth every penny. Thanks BladeHQ!!!!!!
The knife came as advertised! Second to none in fit and finish, the knife is great. The only issue that I have is that the handle texture makes it difficult to slide into my pocket and I expect it to wear on my pants. That being said, it feels great and stable in the hand and that is a trade off that I will have to accept.
