Description:
The titanium QSP Penguin is a step above its predecessor, maintaining its superiors EDC knife status while enhancing the main bulk of the knife. Titanium is the element created for knives: it's super strong, super light, and can be anodized to change its color. Just stick a blade between two slabs of the stuff, and you've got a solid knife. But QSP is about quality, and they take that blade-sticking process seriously, machining a perfect fit, and refining the pivot action to create something that will stand the test of time and hard use. Here's a knife that's affordable, yet promises to perform like a champion as long as you need it to.
The QSP Penguin is available in tons of different handle materials, blade materials, blade finishes, and colors. Which one is your favorite?
Don't waist your time with the base model. Grab the Ti Version and be done with it. I own both and its not even a comparison. Frame-lock, Bearings, 154CM blade, full Ti handles. No brainer. Even the sound is phenomenal. Just buy it!
This is the first time buying a qsp knife and I really like the design of this knife. The first thing I noticed was the handles look nothing like the pictures. The handles are almost completely gray, with very hard to see hints of blue. The biggest thing that disappointed me with this knife is the action. Out of the box it was very stiff. After applying some knife lube it made it better but is still far from being able to be reliably opened using thumb flick or reverse flicking.
