The action is super smooth, the blade has a great edge. Just like other's have said, the D2 seems great, not sure what the issue was with the first review but doesn't seem to be the norm.
For my personal taste, the knife is a bit light, I prefer more weight. The handle also feel just a bit short when I hold it. Nothing that prevents functional use, but just seems a bit too compact. Overall still the best D2 you can get for the price and well worth it.

I'd like to preface this review by saying that I have a decent amount of experience sharpening D2 steel. With enhancements in the manufacturing of pocket knives at a bargain price coming out of China as of late, I figured this would be a decent little knife for the money. Straight out of the box it was pretty impressive. The action was smooth, the blade was sharpened decently enough, and the fit and finish was there. My issues came when attempting to sharpen this knife. When using the KME diamond 140 stone chipping started to occur almost immediately after apexing the edge. I thought the edge may have just been burnt, so I kept going hoping that I would run into some decent steel. No luck. The chipping started getting worse, and began occurring all down the blade. I have used this same stone to sharpen Spyderco's s30v, 20cv, and Civivi's D2. No issues with any of those steels. Maybe I got a dud? I can't say, but even at $30 I am no longer impressed.
