The QSP Penguin is one of the best EDC knives you can get for the money. Its straight-edged sheepsfoot blade opens easily and smoothly on a washer pivot and is made from tough steel, and its handle scales are made from one of several amazing materials, like micarta, G-10, copper, brass, or even titanium. Pick the one that suits your style! The Penguin comes with a reversible, deep-carry pocket clip made from steel. Supplement your collection with a pocket-friendly and budget-friendly folding knife.
The QSP Penguin is available in tons of different handle materials, blade materials, blade finishes, and colors. Which one is your favorite?
The action when opening it one-handed is pretty smooth. I love the knife. Even my mom liked the blade shape, and she's not too thrilled with the fact that I started collecting knives. The micarta scales have just the right texture and the color is the same nice shade of red as in the Blade HQ pictures. The jimping on the liner lock of my knife is not aggressive or rough. It's very good. I plan to buy other frame lock versions of the Penguin in n the future.
I love this knife. I will say its a bit square so hard use wouldn't be pleasant but as an edc user, it's awesome. Jimping on liner lock is also a bit aggressive. Overall, 4.5 stars.
