Description

Description

The shiny, black blade of this Schrade folding knife is made of a high-tech ceramic. This blade will never corrode and will stay sharper longer than a traditional metal blade. The handle has black TPR handle scales that are lightweight and comfortable in your hand. The blade opens using the ambidextrous thumb studs and locks in place with the secure liner lock mechanism. There is a lanyard hole in the handle end, and on the back is a tip-down carry pocket clip.

Scared to actually use it...

This is a very pretty knife. The scales are comfortable and look somewhat cheap, but the black blade is gorgeous. It's not as sharp as I'd have expected a ceramic knife to be. It can shave hairs, but not well.

I fear actually using it though. It's so light it wouldn't be a problem to carry, but I'd hate to snap the blade cutting something trivial like a cardboard box!
Great knife

Love the feel, contour, handle texture, but ceramic knives are more for conversation than real world use.

This knife was mentioned in the last knife banter when discussing Austin's knives. I like unique blades so when he mentioned this being ceramic and budget friendly I had to have it. So I ordered and I love it.
