Description

Smith’s 2-Step Knife Sharpener features two tungsten carbide blades with pre-set angles to ensure the perfect edge every time. Three or four strokes through the carbide sharpening slots will restore the edge on a very dull knife. The two crossed ceramic rods also have pre-set angles and provide a smooth finished edge to already sharp knives. It is lightweight, portable, comes with a lanyard hole, and has non-slip rubber feet for added safety. Excellent for use on all types of knives, especially fillet knives. Measures 2.35" x 2.75" x 0.9"

I use this thing to add a little extra lick to my kitchen knives. Is this a sharpener that I would use to regularly sharpen a knife? No not at all but a couple of strokes through this to add some bite to a blade in 5 seconds while your meal prepping is the ideal use for this and it works perfect for it. Use the edge of the counter though or you could draw the blade right into the counter and make a lot of marks.
Works good

I use this to sharpen all of my pocket knives and it does a nice job. If you keep your knives pretty sharp then you only need to use the side with the ceramic rods to touch them up. The only real drawback is that with some knives you can not get the blade far enough in to sharpen the entire edge.
Great sharpener

This is a really nice sharpener for touch-ups and can put a quick edge on a knife. I would highly recommend getting this for kitchen use!
