This limited Spyderco Delica 4 knife has a distinctive Teal FRN handle and a full-flat ground VG-10 stainless steel blade that is satin finished with a plain cutting edge.

The blade on the Delica is premium VG-10 stainless steel from Seki-City Japan and features spine jimping that extends from the ramp to the top of the handle. The Spyderco original thumb hole on the blade allows ambidextrous one-hand opening for right or left handers and the phosphor bronze washers at the pivot make the blade action smooth. The Delica has a lightweight FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle with skeletonized stainless steel liners and a strong back lock mechanism. The handle features screw construction for quick, simple cleaning and adjustment. The FRN scales utilize Spyderco's patented Bi-Directional Texturing to keep your hand from slipping under pressure. The pocket clip is 4-way reversible for tip-up/down and left/right carry.

The Delica is a smaller version of the Spyderco Endura knife. Both knives have been extremely popular over the years thanks to their lightweight, high performance build and affordable price.

This is my second Delica and it’s probably my favorite, mainly because of the color. The teal is bright and unique and looks good with the polished clip. I do not have a lot of heavy use on my knives, but I’m sure it could handle it. I am overall very happy with my purchase.

great first spydie

heard a LOT about spyderco and also my father had one of the first spyderco knives back in the early 80's. i although i am not real big on the spydie-hole look... i am quickly becoming a fan of it. great knife and love the color. although a bit pricey ... i will recover lol. cheers

This Delica 4 was my first "good" knife in a sense. It's what started my descent into the knife rabbit hole. I've since bought a 940-1, Spyderco PM2, and a Protech Whiskers and I'm still looking to get more. This knife cuts beautifully and the FRN scales fit very well in my hands despite being a little small. This is a knife I can carry to college or church or work and not scare anyone to death when I pull it out. My favorite part about this knife is probably the Teal colour FRN scales. It's my favorite colour and it looks great especially if you patina the blade (which I have yet to do.) My only gripe with this knife is the lack of a deep carry pocket clip. I got a small grey MXG titanium clip to fix that though and I love it even more now.

Wife loves it
Ian O. on Oct 12, 2018

I bought this BHQ limited edition in teal because my wife's favorite color is teal. She loves and has actually used it so much that she gave it back the other day needing to be resharpened and wanting the FRN handle scales cleaned up. The edge had rolled in a few spots consistent with being used on the glass cutting board that I never ever use with my own knives... and the FRN has some dirt/grease stains that I expect will come out with some Dawn DishSoap. In closing: this is a knife so good, even my wife who doesn't care too much for knives finds an excuse to use it constantly. P.s. Disassembly and Reassembly is not terribly difficult with this lockback design. Can be tricky to get the bar to stay in when putting back together. First time I tried the lockbar came flying out and nearly got lost. I recommend watching a DIY video on Youtube if you're having troubles.

It’s a delica 4. Nuff said on that. The color is bright and beautiful. I particularly love the polished pocket clip, matches the rest of the hardware great. I wish the standard colors came this way.

Very Nice

I got this for my wife for Mother's Day and she loves it. She loves the color and so do I. It is pretty much you basic Delica so you know it is good.

Great new color

I had a delica but gave it to a friend while inebriated. Always missed it and decided to pick this one up because the non threatening color and i just plain like the color. Much sharper factory edge than my last one and it falls closed when back lock is pressed like its already broken in! Perfect. My girlfriend ordered one too and they sent it with a chicken holding a knife drawn on the box probably because her avatar on Google is a chicken. Very fast shipping too.

Awesome Blade!

I researched Spyderco knives for awhile, your YouTube channel helped with that a lot. I saw that these Delica 4s were on sale on your website so I decided to give them a shot I bought the teal one and the zomei one for my wife(kinda getting her into knives too, doesn't have a choice :) limited edition ones had them for two days loved the weight and the size coming from a CRKT M21 that I daily carried for a few months this knife was a huge difference. I love the thumb hole and the thing I fell in love with the most is the sound it makes when opening and closing it just sounds well made no loose blade the pocket clip being reversible and ambidextrous is a cool feature too. Coming from a person who just got into the addiction that is knife collecting and EDC this is my most expensive knife/brand I have bought so far. But Spyderco has gotten on my list of favorite brands along with CRKT. I loved this knife so much that I bought another two knives so we could keep our limited color run blades nice so I just bought a blue one for her and a orange one for me to really give them tests. Super sharp from factory, great steel from my personal experiences with blade metals i know there is better. Anyway kinda all over the place review but these knives are fantastic especially for the discounted price I was able to get them for. Thanks again BladeHQ you have truly gotten hooked. If you're on the fence on getting a Spyderco I would not hesitate to get one.

First delica

I like the knife quite a bit, and I’m glad I chose this color. It’s a little bigger than I thought it would be, but that’s ok because I had held off buying it before because I thought it would be too small. It slices really well which is great. Only problem I have seems to be a quality control thing. The spyder hole has grooves in it from when it was drilled with what must not have been a new drill bit. I noticed these after using it for a few days so it’s not something that stands out too much. I’ll probably just sand it down a little. Otherwise it seems to be a very good knife.

Great blade

When are you bringing back teal??? This is a great knife to use or to collect and put in the showcase. Either way, they need to bring it back or jack up the after market value to $1000's! :)
