The Dice is a smaller variation of the popular Spyderco Domino flipper. Designed by Eric Glesser, it features a Kit Carson-inspired flipper opener. Its full-flat ground blade is machined from premium CTS XHP steel and rides on specially designed ball bearing washers for an ultra-smooth opening action. The handle features a solid titanium scale on one side and a titanium liner and black Cubic Check Carbon Fiber/G-10 laminate scale on the other. The titanium scale houses a high-strength Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism with a steel interface that serves double duty as an overtravel stop. For ease and versatility of carry, the Dice also includes a black, four-position pocket clip.
I was surprised by the quality and normally i go for blade with 3" or more. Since i got this, it has change my mind on small blade. now i find it more suitable to carry small blade as i am in an office environment and not very often do in need a big murdery folding knife which will make old ladies and small children nervous around me.

Sweet little flipper, nice and smooth
Picked this up as it was being discontinued and the price was right. Size in the pocket is nice for EDC and I really like that it's a flipper. Time will tell on the blade steel as I've only had this for six weeks, but so far so good.
Sweet Spyderco knife. Love the action, the locking mechanism, the size, the scale is really nice, good weight. I will replace the clip with a deep pocket (bronze) titanium clip. Great deal at this price, can't find any place else that touches this price, couldn't be happier. Goes well with my Manix 2, Para 2, Delica, etc... This is my first CTX-XHP blade, super sharp out of the box, can't wait to see how it holds up. Great size for an EDC.
I purchased the Dice for my wife as her first "serious" folding knife. Since this is a smaller knife, the handle would not be comfortable in my larger hand, but was perfect for her. The finish on the knife is very well done and the lock bar insert and multiple methods of opening make for great ease of use. I give it 4 stars because the action needed a lot of tuning to flip open reliably when I received it. Also (like many of Spyderco's import knives) I had to break a lot of sharp edges that shouldn't have been sharp. After a little TLC this is a 5 star knife.
This would be 5 stars if they made the handle a full carbon fiber piece for the $$price$$ instead of doing a cheap ass looking laminated scale (I threw it away), had to switch it out for a bella blades kirinite toxic green handle (which is also friggin awesome!). My favorite EDC for my office job. Perfect in hand, just the right size blade for anything I need to get done and oh so light in pocket (probably would have been lighter with a full CF scale). First knife with CTS-XHP and it's great. Highly recommend this knife. I probably wont ever buy another spyderco that has a laminate scale tho cuz it looks like a turd.
I was excited to see this knife for a great price but ended up returning it. Would not flip open without a wrist flick, very disappointed. Pivot was very tight. Rather than adjusting it, I just sent it back. Also, a lot less smooth than my Domino. I was excited to have one of each, but the Dice with it's smaller blade does not have the action of the Domino and is just not as satisfying. Fit and finish was great, I just value the action of a flipper and in my opinion this one did not deliver in that area. Blade HQ was awesome throughout the entire process!
