It utilizes the best attributes of the classic Francisca axe with a bearded head and a hammer poll for added utility. Great, but...
Pete R.
So, the design of this unit is awesome. I like the thumb notch up at the top for use choked up for fine work. I like the ergonimics and balance for chopping or striking with the hammer. Sweet.

What I found out of character, was some missed details. In the formentioned thumb notch, lanyard hole, and at a spot in the middle/front of the grip were spots at the poly molding seam where material had squirted out, and left hard jagged plastic fuzzy/lumps. Yes, I can just carve them off, but should I have to on a tool of this caliber? I wouldn't think so, but I will, and this tool will no doubt be a favorite for years.
2 more minutes at the shop before calling these ready to ship!
Most badass tomahwak I've ever held.

Perfectly sized beard, beautifully drop forged and made in North Carolina. What more do you need to hear?
Its too bad people would look at me weird if I were to EDC this beauty.
