The Street Beat Lightweight is based on the Fred Perrin's original design and made using the efficient and economical Street Bowie model with injection-molded fiberglass reinforced nylon handle scales and a black ceramic coated blade. Like the original, the VG-10 steel clip point blade is double flat-ground. There are two lanyard holes, a traditionally positioned handle lanyard and a small lanyard hole through the blade. Looping a thong or cord through the blade lanyard keeps your hand positioned forward on the handle even when swinging or chopping. The Street Beat comes in black injection-molded polymer sheath with an angle adjustable G-Clip fastening system

Fred Perrin is a Parisian custom knifemaker, a former French Army Commando and a world ranked martial artist. His Street Beat fixed-blade knife reflects all three influences.

All Day Everyday!!!
Jonathan S.
I EVERYDAY carry a Spyderco Street Beat lightweight in the factory sheath. The clip works great in both gym shorts and jeans, which was my biggest concern. To me, it makes no sense to have a knife that you can only wear with "one outfit". God forbid I get attacked by a zombie walking out of the gym and reach for a whole handful of hopes & dreams, forgetting that I'm not wearing all of my tacticool gear.

Its simple, easy, and clips on to everything. Can't recommend it enough. I love it.
Great Fixed EDC Knife
Melvin K.
This knife is smaller than it looks but that makes it great as a tactical EDC blade. In areas where there are goofy blade length requirements this knife is your friend. It came razor sharp like all good Spyderco knives. The handle material is a great medium traction FRN. The gimping runs down the handle as well. This knife is ideal for outdoor uses and I take it when I go hunting. I did not care for the G clip that came with the knife but it does give you options.
