Description

Description

The Spyderco Police has been a mainstay in the Spyderco catalog since its introduction in the 1980's. This Police 4 model builds off the popular design and adheres to Spyderco's policy of constant quality improvement. It's been upgraded with a full flat ground blade made from Bohler K390 blade steel. Skeletonized steel liners, a stainless backspacer, and textured G-10 handle scales provide excellent structural strength and a solid grip. A 4-way stainless steel pocket clip completes the updated design.

Features:
  • Bohler-Uddeholm K390 particle metallurgy steel offers a strong blade for high-performance edge retention.
  • Textured G-10 handle scales provide a secure grip and maximum structural strength.
  • Includes a 4-way reversible pocket clip for versatile pocket carry.

Do you wish the Endura was bigger with a steel frame and a blade that's comparable to M4? Then boy are you gonna love this knife!

All joking aside, this knife is excellent, if a little niche. It's flat and relatively thin (especially for its size!) and carries well for a blade this length. The full flat grind combined with a steel that will hold a hell of an edge means this is a slicer-for-sure. The forward choil means you can one-hand close this with no risk to your fingers and the action is smooth enough to allow this.

Downsides? It's a big damn knife and the steel isn't particularly corrosion resistant.

This is my favorite BIG knife, especially paired with a Dragonfly or maybe a Delica for more precise/friendly work. Well worth the price!
