Description:
The Spyderco Tenacious Lightweight adds another winner to Spyderco's series of lightweight editions of their most popular knives. The Tenacious Lightweight has reduced weight by nearly 10% with FRN handle scales and full skeletonized stainless steel liners.
The mid-sized Spyderco Tenacious has a handle milled with prolonged fatigue-free cutting in mind. Tucked inside are skeletonized steel liners increasing the handle’s rigidity and strength without adding non-functioning weight or bulky thickness. The stainless blade is ground flat from spine to cutting edge for cutting performance. The blade’s shape coupled with an over sized Spyderco Round Hole and textured spine jimping allow you to open the blade and position your thumb on the spine in slip-proof confidence ready for work. A Walker Linerlock (with jimped liner) and a 4-way pocket clip lets you set your carry and draw preference.
I never liked the way Spyderco looked so I didn’t pay much attention. Then I was gifted this knife and within a short time of using it I fell in love. There is a lot to like with this knife, the texture on the handle provides ELITE grip. Jimping on the ramp and a 4 way reversible pocket clip nicely round out the beautiful features available. Steel isn’t anything to write home about but for the price this is a bargain. I was converted to Spyderco after this knife!
This knife came very sharp. It feels comfortable in my pocket; it doesn’t weigh it down like some of my others, and sometimes I forgot it’s there. I thought the scales were going to tear up my pocket, but thankfully they haven’t. This knife is very good for the price it will get the job done, and then some.
